RDS Industry Names: Industry names are collections of SIC or product codes that belong to more widely recognized groups or industries.  Some industry names are comprised of up to 100 product codes which  cover both manufacturing and services sectors.  Other Industries are comprised of a few product codes. Limiting a search to an Industry Name is a quick and easy method of limiting a search to relevant content.

Because all RDS databases use the same SIC/Product Codes and Industry Names, users may search accross all databases using the same SIC/Product Codes or Industry Names.
